VNII NP 50-1-4U TurboSHT-32 grade

TU 38.401-58-12-91 with amend 1-4

"09" july 2007 developer of VNII NP 50-1-4U oil JSC VNII NP (all-Russian Research Institute of Oil Refining) approved and put into operation amend.№3 for TU 38.401-58-12-91, wich granted producing additional oil Grade TurboSHT-32.

Advantages of VNII NP 50-1-4U TurboSHT-32 grade are stronger requirements on quality (see below), possibility to pack oil in cans capacity from 1 up to 20 litres.

Increasing convenience of aviation technic units service we are ready to offer VNII NP 50-1-4U TurboSHT-32 grade in 1 (one) and 20 litres cans with Bericap cover.

VNII NP 50-1-4U oil sertified by FSUE State Reseach Institute of Civil Aviation — FSUE GosNII GA (№ ROSS RU.HX06.H00871, Validity till "11" july 2010).


VNII NP 50-1-4U is a synthetic diester oil with a highly-efficient additives package, which permits to use it within the temperature range from -60°C to 200°C with the oil overheating parameter of up to 225°C. It can be used instead of IPM-10, VNII NP 50-1-4F, Turbonycoil 210A (TN 210A), Mobil Turbo 319A-2 (MT 319A-2) and other oils, don't demands replacement of rubber parts or construction materials, and is fully compatible with VNII NP 50-1-4F in any/all parities.


This oil is approved for use in all aircraft turbofan and gas-turbine engines. Currently it is used as one of the basic lubricants for the military hardware. It is recommended for advanced machinery such as Su-35 with 117S turbofan engines, Mig-35, Mig-29OVT with RD-33/RD-93 turbofan engines.

It is used in gas-turbine engines of Sukhoi (Su), Mikoyan (Mig), Tupolev (TU), Ilushin (Il), Yakovlev (Yak) and Antonov (An) military and civil aircraft and in the turbo-compressor unit of Mi-26 helicopters power-plant assemblies, as well as in aircraft gas-turbine engines of gas-compressing plants.

Safety requirements 

  • The VNII NP 50-1-4U oil is a low-inflammable combustible fluid with the flash point of min. 204°C and the self-ignition point of over 500°C.
  • It’s a low-risk substance with regard to harmful health effects, which belongs to hazard class 4, subject to GOST 12.1.07-76.
  • It cannot form poisonous compounds in the atmosphere or in the waste waters interacting with other substances or under the influence of given factors within the natural environment temperature range.
